Larry Paul Denmon, age 65 of Noxen, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at home. He was born in Kingston on August 10, 1954 and was the son of the late Stanley W. and Marjorie Jean Traver Denmon. Larry was a lifelong resident of Noxen. He graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1972 and received his associate degree from Penn State, Wilkes-Barre. He was owner and operator of a greenhouse and produce farm in Noxen for most of his life. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and had an appreciation of nature. Larry attended the Noxen United Methodist Church. As an amateur conservationist and farmer, Larry had a deep concern for the conservation of animal life and its diminishing population. He leaves behind 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters; brother, Lynn Denmon and his wife Patty of Pottsville; niece, Elise Turner of Ardmore; nephew, Patrick Denmon of Pottsville. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at 7:00 pm from the Noxen Bible Baptist Church, 3622 State Route 29, Noxen, PA 18636 with Pastor Ben Hubbell, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM on Friday prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Noxen Bible Baptist Church, 3622 State Route 29, Noxen, PA 18636.
