Audrey Adair (Traver) Wilke, 95, of Harveys Lake, passed into eternal rest February 19, 2024
Born in Wilkes-Barre on May 16, 1928, Audrey was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Pearn) Traver. She attended Elmer L. Meyers High School and worked in various industries during her lifetime.
Audrey's most treasured roles in life were that of wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and follower of her Savior Jesus Christ. Audrey was an active member of the Emmanuel Assembly of God at Harveys Lake.
Preceding her in death were her devoted husband of 60 years, William "Bill" Wilke; son, Paul Traver Wilke; sister, Ruth Bond; brother, Donald Traver; and granddaughter, Adrienne Metcalf.
Surviving are her two loving daughters, Diane Metcalf of Hanover Township and Caryl Adams, and her husband Ned, of Plano, TX. In addition are her grandchildren, Lindsey Charneski (Brian), Allison French (Jake), Caroline Meredith (David), William Clay Adams, and Jason Wilke (Sylvia); along with six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family prior to interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
