To Eddie's family,
I have been blessed to call Eddie a friend over the last 8 years that I was employed at Banko's Bar/Restaurant. I am so sorry to hear of your loss because I know he will be missed greatly but I KNOW he is in heaven right now. I always told Eddie that there weren't too many people who thought like us because we were both born-again Christians and Democrats. lol We always laughed about it. I will tell you that he had a light in his soul that shined very brightly through alot of darkness that came through there. His gentle spirit and wisdom were examples of God's love. He shared many stories with me throughout the years that taught me that through all of our failures they are each opportunities to grow from them and gain wisdom to try harder next time. As a stranger to most of you, I just want you to know that Eddie expressed his love for his family quite often and his love for you will continue as he looks down upon you. I will miss him greatly. I will miss his laugh, our political conversations, his fatherly advice, and of course his fruit salad. I will pray for your comfort and peace during this time. God Bless!
