My Uncle Joe was the tallest, strongest man I ever knew, and he always had a kind word for me when I saw him. My mother, Betty Darrow, always told me that her baby brother Carl (Joe) grew up to be a hard working man, who helped his parents on their farm, farmed his own land, and kept local cemeteries looking real nice.
