My deepest condolences to you all . It has been such a long time since I have seen Pawel. But he will always be in our hearts. His love of family, community , and music . Dear Virginia and Family:
May we send you our deepest sympathy at this time and say that our thoughts have been with you since we saw the obituary in the paper on Good Friday. Your choice of the photo for the obituary was very appropriate. You could see Pawel's joy of life come shinning through his smile.I know you will be brave in your sorrow as he would have wanted you to be.
I admired him greatly for his many accomplishments and the discipline he needed to complete them. He was one of the most interesting of people I got to know in my long life. I particularly enjoyed the time we spent together listening to music and judging the quality of the equipment the music was played on. Pawel had a very good ear and I learned a lot from him. And thank you for your hospitality for inviting me to join you for dinner with one of Powel's Polish concoctions after a listening session.
We were sad to see you and Powell move upstate a distance away from Ephrata which limited our personal meetings but enjoyed his frequent calls to check on our well being and to always end the call with one of his jokes. He wll be missed.
I know your family and your courage will help you through this rough time. Our love is with you.

Dear Bednarek Family; I was so saddened to read in the Lancaster paper of Pawel's passing. This was a great and wonderful man, who befriended me when he entered my practice for foot care. I loved everything about Pawel, from his beautiful, infectious smile and warm personality, to learning all about him and his very interesting life. His friendship was an honor and a cherished gift to me. I loved his kind gesture of bringing pierogi home from NYC for me. I have nothing but warm and wonderful memories of him. Pawel touched and bettered my life. May God hold him tenderly in His arms for all of eternity. The heavenly choir is now enriched by many degrees.

My sincerest condolences to Virginia and the entire family and friends. I have many great memories of dinners, dances, parades, and more with you and Pawel! May he rest sweetly until you meet again. I fondly remember him being Grand Marshal and marching with him. May God give you comfort.

Pawel, You will be deeply missed by family members and friends. Your positivism, high energy, stamina, good sense of humor, intelligence, charisma as well as your love for the Arts in Opera singing, your ability to speak Italian, French, German, English and your native language Polish, besides other talents, made you a unique individual. You touched many lives and you were the greatest host for your guests. We remember your favorite song " Oh Sole Mio." God bless your soul. We'll miss you.
