So sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. He was a great asset to the Friends of the NRA and I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing him.

Marcy, Chris, Becky... The tribute is so beautiful, the flood of tears was unstoppable :(
I am truly heartbroken & still in disbelief that Bill isn't here with us, but he Will remain in our hearts forever..
He was a true friend to me, a fellow Officer - working side by side, A Mentor. We worked long and hard and very well as a team, in many situations that arose, be it personal or professional.
What I'll really miss is our long, hour+ conversations, in person and on the phone, as we solved (or at least tried to solve) the problems of the world, or maybe just talk about a new firearm, the progress on the new firehouse & the old one as well or life, in general! We had the same mindset on just about everything, which made it so easy to get along so well as friends.
May God Bless your family and Bill's 'extended family' and provide the strength we all need.
Memories will always keep him alive in our hearts....FOREVER
Love you all.

We are sorry about losing Bill. Mary Ellen and I were very concerned when we heard Bill had covid, especially with his health issues. Mary Ellen and I have decided not to attend the viewing or service due to her fragile health issues. We will remember Bill and his service to the NRA, Lake Silkworth FD,EMS. When I needed any reloading advice or information on Thomson Center Contenders he was my first call. There is not much else to add. We will all miss Bill in our own way.
Curt's Gun Shop sent a donation to the FD in Bill's name. If there is anything we can do personally or business wise please let us know.

Marcy and Family:
I just wanted you to know how deeply saddened we are on the loss of Bill.
We have lost one of the kindest and gentlest people that I ever had the privilege to know.
There was lots of love for Marcy, his children and grandchildren and his love of his Country.
I am proud to call him my friend; like everyone else, I will miss him very much.
He was a great asset to our “TRI COUNTY FNRA” and served vice-chair for many years, he taught me so much.
Bill, we all will truly miss you.
You have OUR love and sincere sympathy. God Bless you All.

I know Bill AKA "Dodge Bill", through Cowboy Action Shooting. He was someone that you always enjoyed seeing at the matches and shooting with. Not only was he a great shot but was also extremely knowledgeable concerning firearms. He will be sorely missed by his fellow cowboys and truly by all who knew him.

I am so very sorry for the loss of such a good man. Bill was a wonderful neighbor and friend whom I came to depend on more than I can say over the past 17 years. He was always willing and able to lend a helping hand whenever I needed anything around my house. I enjoyed his stories, and updates on activities around the lake. I can't believe he's gone! The Lathrop Family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am going to miss him.
