Obituary of Christopher Bower

Christopher Bower, age 35 of Harveys Lake, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 following a car accident. He was born in Kingston on January 3, 1986 and was the son of Donna Roman and William Bower. Chris was the owner/operator of Bower's Home Improvements and Custom Carpentry, LLC and was a skilled tattoo artist. He loved riding his motorcycle and going to the local casino. Family was very important to Chris, especially spending time with his cousins, Jeffery and Derrick. He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Stanley Sims and maternal great-grandmother, Isabel Youngblood; paternal grandfather, William Bower, Jr.; uncle, Robert Sims. In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his wife, Kassy Bower of Lancaster; step-daughter, Addalie Yurejefcic; brother, Hunter Bower of Benton; maternal grandmother, Marge Sims; paternal grandmother, Shirley Bower; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at 4:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Raymond D. Purdy, Jr. of the Living Word Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
