How do I find words to describe the kindness Joy possessed. She had a goodness and kindness that cannot be described. Her heart was filled with love and compassion. Joy was a very special person. Doc and Joy were always an inspiration to our family both personally and church family. A testimony to anyone they came in contact within a daily basis. Doc, your unconditional love and commitment to your wife is an example we should all covet and follow. To Jillian Auchus, thank you for your unselfishness in staying with your pop pop and Gram the last few nights. Time is precious, and we never know when that last day will come. So jealous she is with Out Lord and Savior, and with the beautiful Amber! They are up there singing “Wish You Were Here.” What a glorious hope for those who will follow. Love you all and our thoughts and prayers are with you in the coming days ahead.

Joy and Doc were the first ones to welcome us to Living Word. She was a light for me when I went through breast cancer. She was compassionate, caring, generous lady. I will miss that smile! God bless you Doc. We are praying you through. Our condolences to the family. ❤️
