Sue A. Ganoe Tinsley, age 74, of Dallas, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jamestown, NY on April 15, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Chester and Ethel Nordlund Branch. Sue graduated from Jamestown High School in New York, where she met her previous husband, Lester Ganoe with whom she was sealed for all eternity with at the LDS Temple, Washington D.C. She loved cooking and baking cookies with the grandkids. Sue was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Lester Ganoe, 2nd husband, Calvin James Tinsley, son, Kameron Ganoe and granddaughter, Kiana Swartwood. Sue is survived by daughters, Jessica Swartwood and Mia Ganoe and her fiancé Jeff Maurer; sister, Karen Prettyman; grandchildren, Jamie Ganoe and his fiancé Sarah Zawatski, Chad Strohl, Courtney Ganoe, Craig, Cassandra and Cameron Kepp, Aaliyah, Caiden and Damon Swartwood; 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Bishop John Shear, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lake Township.
