Obituary of Kenneth Stanley Miller

Kenneth Stanley Miller, Sr., age 59 of Monroe Township, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Mr. Miller was born in Wilkes-Barre on March 29, 1953, and was the son of the late Robert and Alice Lozier Miller. Kenneth graduated from Dallas High School in 1970. He was employed as a truck driver for Hadsall Excavating, Linde Enterprising, and Pikes Creek Sand and Gravel. He was a member of the Harveys Lake Rod and Gun Club, enjoyed hunting with his son Kenny, Jr., car racing, and football. Mr. Miller attended the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by a son, Dory Zacharias and a sister, Connie Miller. He is survived by his wife, the former Doris Siglin; sons: Robert Zacharias of Harveys Lake, Randy Zacharias of Harveys Lake, Richard Zacharias of Noxen, and Kenneth S. Miller, Jr. of Beaumont; daughters: Johnette Meader of Harveys Lake, Crystal Zacharias of Beaumont, and Traci Zacharias of Beaumont; brothers: Robert Miller of Dallas, Dean Miller of Plymouth, and Jerry Miller of Plymouth; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. L.D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 PM - 9 PM. Interment will be in the Dymond Section of Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Monroe Township.
