Obituary of James Barth Kelley

James Kelley, age 68 of Sweet Valley, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at home.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 22, 1952 and was the son of the late John and Marion Kelley.
James was a graduate of Meyers High School in Wilkes Barre and later Wilkes University and Bloomsburg University. He was employed by Hasteck in New Hampshire and was later the owner/operator of Advertising Outsourcing Services. James was an avid fisherman and loved his dogs.
He is survived by brothers, John P. Kelley and his wife Andrea of Wake Forest, NC, David Kelley and his wife Lynn of Mountaintop and Frank Kelley of Moosic; sisters, Marian Bannon and her husband Mike of Hanover Twp., Sharon Ford and Joe Yeager of Mountain Top and Karen Eltringham and her husband Gary of Athens; Margaret Egner of Sweet Valley; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Charles Grube of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Memorial donations may be made to Residential Hospice, 25 Church St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
