Spencer Goyette, age 30 of Plymouth, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at home, after a long battle with drug addiction. He was born in Lubbock, TX on November 7, 1990 and was the son of the late Glynn Goyette and Temple Herring Wolfe and her husband, Leroy of Sweet Valley. Spencer attended the University of Phoenix’s Online Program in Computer Science. He loved his bearded dragons, geckos, and red eared slider turtles; and especially enjoyed creating habitats for them. Spencer was an honorable father to his children and home schooled them, he loved them very much and loved watching them excel. His life started with smiles, as his grandfather, David, bought a box of the finest chocolates to entice to nurses to keep a near constant vigil on the newly born Spencer. He loved life, nature, camping, concerts, music festivals, and mostly, the Grateful Dead music. Spencer was always the first one to get the crowd up on their feet dancing. He tried to help everyone he could with their own personal battles with drug addiction, even those that were personally close with him. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Nanny and Pappaw Herring, who helped raise him; maternal grandmother, Kay Kiske; and beloved aunt, Nikkie Evans. In addition to his mother, Spencer is survived by fiancé, Leigh Williams of Plymouth; children, Ilithia Gray of Sheboygan, WI; stepdaughters, Kaitlynn and Isabella Sydlick; sister, Cheyenne Bell; maternal grandfather, David Herring “Poppa”; paternal grandfather, David Goyette; he leaves an everlasting imprint on his beloved paternal grandmother, Nancy Stauch and her husband, Douglas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family atop Mount Rainier Glacier, Washington. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Online condolences can be made to clswansonfuneralhome.com “Dance away my beautiful blue-eyed angel”. Love, Leigh.
