Steven Alan Devens, age 38 of Benton, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at home. He was born in Kingtson on June 23, 1982 and was the son of Alice Devens Blaine and step-father William Bower, both of Benton Steven was fun loving and caring. He loved working on cars and cared for his family. Steven was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Nicholas, Sr. and Alice Giberson Devens. In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by sister, Heather Devens and fiancé, Brian McDonald of Dallas; brother, Brandan Devens and Brittany McIntosh of Sweet Valley; son, Bryson Devens of Plymouth; nieces and nephews, Hayley, Olivia, Tyler, Liam, Heidyn, McKenna, and Greysen; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 12:00 Noon from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Friends may call February 13th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Deven's gofundme page at gf.me/u/zhw7h6, to make a donation to help the family with final expenses.
