Helen Annette Stroud, age 95 of Reading, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Tower Health Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA. She was born in Plymouth, PA, and was the daughter of the late John and Anna Herron Lukavitch. Helen graduated from Shickshinny High School, Class of 1942. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Helen resided in Sweet Valley for most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Clifford Stroud; daughter, Annette Goodman; and sisters, Katherine Fay, and Mary Margo She is survived by son, John Stroud and his wife Linda of Wisconsin; daughter, Linda Ann Victory and husband Manley of Reading, PA; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Franklin Goodman. A private Prayer Service will be held at the convenience of the family with Deacon Eugene Blockus of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, officiating. Arrangements are from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Private interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 968 Postal Road, Suite 110, Allentown, PA 18109
