Mary Marguerite Ondish Price, age 96 of Dallas, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. She was born in Ogdensburg, NY on August 24, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Gabrielle Baudot Lapointe. Mary was a sales supervisor at McCrory's in Shavertown for 37 years. She was a member of the Gate of Heaven Church in Dallas and was an active leader of the Local Polka Pals for many years. Mary loved to travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 27 years, John Ondish, Jr., and second husband of 11 years, Robert Price; son, Arthur Ondish; brother, Charles Lapointe; and sisters, Louise Desalvo, Elizabeth Crobar, and Aleda Macpherson Mary is survived by grandchildren, Christine Kutz of Forty Fort, Jennifer Porasky of Dallas, Tammy Feher of Dallas; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, with Rev. Daniel Toomey, officiating. Friends may call on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Private interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donation to be made to the Gate of Heaven Church, 40 Machell Ave. Dallas, PA 18612 or the SPCA, 524 E Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
