Obituary of Jean Boltz

Jean Boltz, age 83 of Nanticoke, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 11, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Adam and Anna Rodko Yurewicz. Jean graduated from Hanover Township High School and later retired from the Eberhard Faber Pencil Factory, Mountain Top. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William Boltz, brothers, Leonard and Edward Yurewicz; sisters, Bernadine Fisher and Marlene Rowles. Jean is survived by sons, William C. Boltz, Jr. and his wife Anna of Sylvan Lake, Robert Boltz of West Nanticoke, and Barry Richard Boltz of Kingston; daughter, Brenda Barrall and her husband William of Shavertown; grandchildren, Angela, Melissa, Michelle, Robin, Rachel, Robert, Jr., Nora and Tyler; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Memorial donations can be made to Susan G.
