Obituary of William Douglas Dunbar

Bill "Hillbilly Willy" Dunbar, age 52 of Harveys Lake, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Kingston, on June 17, 1968 and was the son of Paul, Sr. and Shirley Mae Dunbar. Bill was in the Army National Guard and was a handyman and landscaper for many years with several companies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his grandkids very much. He was preceded in death by brother, Paul Dunbar; grandparents, Earl and Gertrude Dunbar and William Jennings and Mildred Philips. In addition to his parents, Bill is survived by his wife, Leslie Newell; daughters, Maurisa Hallock and her husband Larry and Dezare Dunbar; sister, Paula Lutinski and her husband Chris; grandsons, Larry and Hunter Hallock; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
