Cynthia Grace Miller, age 63 of Dallas, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at home. "Cindy" as she liked to be called was born in Kingston on September 8, 1956 and was the daughter of the late Fred and Lois Ide Hughes. She graduated from Lake-Lehman High School, class of 1976. Cindy was a member of the Grace Community Church of Dallas and was previously a member of "The Dream Houses in Miniature Club of the Back Mountain", alongside her parents and her husband, Robert. In addition, she greatly enjoyed working on paint-by-number artwork in her spare time. Cynthia is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Miller of Dallas; children, Stephen and Rebecca Miller, both of Dallas; sister, Jeane Schneider and her husband Geoffrey of Calcutta, OH; uncle, David O. Ide and his wife Grace of Idetown; aunt, Rita A. Ide of England; 4 cousins, 22 nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, 602 Loyalville Rd., Harveys Lake, PA 18618 with Pastor James Quinn, officiating. A private family visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassionate care given to Cindy.
