Obituary of Nancy Concert

Nancy Lerch Concert, age 84 of Ashley, formerly of Harvey's Lake, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 22, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Plains Twp. She was born at Harvey's Lake on September 14, 1935 and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Hammond Lerch. Nancy graduated from Lake-Noxen in 1953. She was employed at Ronox Dress Factory in Noxen and later Ricky's Fashion in Dallas Twp. She dedicated her life raising and caring for her family. Nancy was a former member of the Harvey's Lake Lutheran Church and Alderson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed making people laugh, baking, search word books and playing games. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by husband, Angelo Concert; sisters, Joanne Lerch and Louise Lerch; brothers, John, Richard, Donald, and James Lerch; son, Jeffrey Concert. She is survived by, daughter, Debbie Bennett and her partner Brenda Ruzanski of Ashley, Diana Traver and her partner Mark of Nanticoke, Donna Garriott and husband Daryl of Trucksville, Dollie Hinton and husband Christopher of Naples, FL, sons, Christopher Concert of Swoyersville, Angelo Concert Jr. and wife Traci of Harvey's Lake, Steven Concert of Harvey's Lake, daughter-in-law, Tammy Concert of Jacksonville, FL., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the Maltby Fire Hall, 253 Owen St. Swoyersville, PA 18704 Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Valley with a Heart Benefits, 7 Alden Rd. Nanticoke, PA 18635. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, PCU unit, for their compassionate care given to their mother.
