What a great guy he was. We met on the BMW MOA forum and at the Gillette, WY rally. On my first visit to NYC in 2008 he jumped on a train and met me downtown to give me his 50 cent Manhattan tour. We had a wonderful time wandering around the city. He also connected my wife and me with dozens of world motorcycle travelers who we hosted over the years. Those friendships still endure to this day. We will miss him.

I had some of the best times riding my motorcycle over to PA to visit with Chris (and Judy!). I spent some time chatting with friends today who also were lucky enough to experience the Dawe hospitality, and all the great memories that were made. Some great memories have also been shared by some of his other motorcycling friends. He will be truly missed, and I'm sorry to all his family and friends for his untimely passing.

Aunt Judy , Bill , Dottie and John. So sorry to hear of the loss of Chris. We didn’t see each other often but when we did we had some great conversations and laughs. He will be missed. I’m sure he is smiling down while cruising on his motorcycle.
