Obituary of Mark McMurtry

Mark McMurtry, age 58 of Trucksville, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Residential Hospice, Wilkes-Barre, due to health complications. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on June 11, 1961 and was the son of Lorraine Kerdesky McMurtry. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sister, Lori Martin McMurtry; brother-in-law, Jim Martin; niece, Kara Martin; nephew, Jaymes Martin; uncles, Bobby and Peter Kerdesky and Charles McMurtry; aunts, Diane Kerdesky and Martha McMurtry; son, Jason and daughter, Jaime. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas, with Pastor Dan Brubaker of the Roaring Brook Baptist Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
