I was employed by Jill for a few years while in high school and college and she was always an incredible, shining beacon of positive energy. Many days I'd arrive in a funk due to some difficult circumstance in my life, but by the end of a shift spent with her I would be walking out the door with a much more positive outlook. Even years later, I often find myself thinking back to those times and her ability to face any situation with a smile.
I'm sure I'm only one of many, many people whose lives were enriched by Jill's spirit. The world has lost a great person. My sincerest condolences to Larry, Shawni and Raine.

Jill was my first boss I started working for her when I was 14 years old until I was about 18-19. I have a lot of good memories working in her families diner. She was a lot of kids first boss in the area I give her credit hiring all of us teenagers it must have been a real chore but she was always smiling. I just saw her at the pumpkin festival this past year and we were reminiscing about those days and how much fun they were. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Larry and the girls and to the rest of Jill’s family you are in my Thoughts and prayers.
