Rest In Peace Grandma Joan...I love you! My favorite memories growing up is making mud pies with Bobby and Marc-ie in our underwear outside in the rain. Picking strawberries and raspberries to make jellies and jams. Teaching me how to cook grandmas famous homemade apple pie and fudge. Playing dress up in all her clothes from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s with my girlfriends in junior high school. Letting me come along her mail route on Saturday mornings. Teaching me how to paint and entering me in as the youngest member in Cider Painters Of America. Making and selling arts and crafts on the weekends. Going for drives to look for deer and get an ice cream cone. Everything Harvey’s Lake!!! Living with Grandma and Grandpa Charlie my senior year in high school. Grandpa and I waking up at 4am to go fishing until sun up. All her wonderful bedtime stories she made up and would share as we fell asleep. She taught me to use my imagination and have a love for nature and animals.
You will be missed Grandma Joan!
There are places in the heart reserved for those most special to us. Your mother is one of those people...who will always be remembered. My heartfelt hugs surround the family...treasure the memories. My condolences, with love Patti.
Not only my grandma, you were my favorite friend. You were always the most kindness, loving, and giving person I will ever know. May you be as beautiful as you were here, in heaven. Love you gram.
Besides being my Mom - You were my best friend - you were always there for me - ALWAYS - when you go to heaven and stand in front of God, I am sure you will make him smile - Will miss you every day I am alive - Heaven will be a better place than it was !
