Obituary of Royal Edwin Culver

Royal E. Culver, age 75 of Roaring Brook, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2018 to his Lord and Savior with his family by his side. He was born in Sellersville on December 10, 1942 and was the son of the late Dayton and Betty Cummings Culver. Royal was a graduate of Lake Lehman High School, class of 1961. He was employed by Ed Mushal Construction, Royer Industries and the Back Mountain Gas Co. Royal was an active volunteer for the Sweet Valley Fire Company participating in fund raising activities. Everyone will remember him as your server at the beef and ham dinners. He attended the Sweet Valley Church of Christ. Royal was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He loved his country home and his dog, Lacey. He is survived by his loving wife, the former Laura Sutliff; sons, Royal Buck, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Easton and Scott and his companion, Caryn of Sweet Valley; sister, Fran and her husband Joseph of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ; step-son, David Williams and his wife Susie of Sweet Valley. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 at 12:00 pm from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Bryan Dodson of the Faith Baptist Church, Plymouth, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Bloomingdale Cemetery, Ross Township.
