Mary Elencik Hynick, age 74 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, cousin and friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Richard Hynick, who passed away in August of 1981 and infant grandson, Richard Joseph Sholtis who passed away January 1, 2009.
