Obituary of Thelma Kay Park

Thelma Kay Park, 63, of Dallas passed away July 30 2018 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains Twp., surrounded by her loved ones.

          Thelma was born at Wilkes Barre General Hospital on October 10, 1954.  She was the daughter of the late Glenn Siglin Sr. and Clara Womer Siglin, formerly of Noxen.  Also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Siglin.

          Thelma attended Dallas High School.  She loved being at home with her husband, the late Robert J. Park Sr., who she was married to for 43 years.  Thelma was a wonderful mom and grammy and spent her time with the people she loved.  She will be deeply missed by many as she now joins the love of her life in Heaven. 

          She is survived by her sons, Robert J. Park Jr. and wife Rebecca, and Roger Park and wife Tiffany; grandchildren,Maddison, Cole and Brynna Park; siblings,Tina Ryan and husband Jim, Karen Simmons and husband Curtis, Glenn Siglin Jr. and wife Tina, Bill Siglin and wife Pearl, Jim Siglin and wife Debbie;  Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. 

          A memorial service will be held Friday August 3, 2018 at 6:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of outes 29 & 118,  Pikes Creek, with Rev. Richard Womer of the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church, officiating.   

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 6:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
