Robert L. Agnew, of Pikes Creek, passed away May 30th 2018 at home. He was born October 16th, 1955 in Wilkes Barre. He attended Lake-Lehman High School, and was a member of the District Council 21 Painters and Allied Trades until his recent retirement. He served his country in the US Army Reserve, and was the loving primary caregiver of his mother until her recent passing. He enjoyed snow skiing, boating, motorcycling and snowmobiling for many years. He also helped family and friends with home renovation projects. He was a member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church, Hunlock Creek. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Edward Agnew; his stepfather, Carl H. Remley Sr.; his mother, Betty J. Remley; his Brothers, Albert Eric Agnew and Douglas J. Agnew, and his sister, Carol J. Remley Davis. He is survived by his siblings, Denise Remley Moyer and her husband, Thomas of Lititz; David Remley and his wife, Nancy of Wyoming, Carl H. Remley Jr. and his wife, Petrina of Alton, NH and Jay E. Remley and his wife, Debbie of Cupertino, CA; Anne Remley Brumbach and her husband, Herbert of Foley, AL; sisters – in - law: Mary Ann Remley of St. Petersburg, FL, Alecia Agnew of Nantickoke and Tracy Agnew of Harveys Lake and Gwendolyn Moss of Lehman and many Nieces and Nephews. There will be no calling hours. Funeral service will be private. Internment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., Pikes Creek. Memorial contributions can be made to Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 5876 Main Road, Hunlock Creek, PA 18621.
