Obituary of Donald Robert Grey

Donald Robert Grey, age 77 of Benton, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Bloomsburg.
Mr. Grey was born in Kingston on September 8, 1939 and was the son of the late Raymond and Esther Jackson Grey.
Donald graduated from West Side Vocational Technical School in 1958 and was employed as a truck driver for Addy Asphalt in Wilkes-Barre for 12 years. He grew up at Harveys Lake and enjoyed many summers there. Donald also enjoyed trains.
He is survived by sons, James of Benton and Thomas and his wife Zoe of Sweet Valley; daughter, Denise Farver and her husband Kenneth of Huntington Mills; brother, Howard of Kentucky; sister, Linda Montross of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Nathan, Logan, Kalina, and Mason.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 2 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Paul Moseley, Sr. of the Bible Baptist Church, Benton, officiating.
Friends may call from 12 PM to 2 PM prior to the service.
