Obituary of Harold Lee Honeywell

Harold Lee Honeywell, age 63 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at home.
Mr. Honeywell was born in Nanticoke on February 14, 1953 and was the son of the late Charles H. and Josephine Slatky Honeywell.
Harold graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1971 and was currently employed by Sordoni Construction Services, Inc., Forty Fort. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Outpost Sportsman's Club, Lake Silkworth.
He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa Hrabovsky; brothers, Charles Honeywell and his wife Nancy of Sylvan Lake and Donald Honeywell and his wife Colleen of Sweet Valley; several nieces and nephews; he will be sadly missed by Gracie Lee, Jerry Lee and Tigger.
A Prayer Service will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 7 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Richard Fox of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth, officiating.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 7 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations for the Wilkes-Barre K-9's in Blue be sent to: Wilkes-Barre City Police Dept., 15 N. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701, Att: Chief Lendacky. Please make checks payable to: Wilkes-Barre City Police Department – K-9
