Obituary of Paul Traver Wilke

Paul Traver Wilke, age 65 of Benton, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Wilke was born in Wilkes-Barre on October 27, 1950 and was the son of Audrey Traver Wilke of Harveys Lake and the late William Wilke.
Until his retirement, Paul was employed as a coast to coast tractor trailer driver. He was a member of the Fidelity Lodge F & AM #655, Wilkes-Barre. Paul loved hunting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by son, Jason Wilke and his wife Sylvia of Kyle, TX; sisters, Diane Metcalf of Hanover Twp. and Caryl Adams of Plano, TX; grandson, Adamas; many nieces and 1 nephew.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 4:00 pm from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. L.D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake, officiating.
Friends may call 2-4 PM on Friday prior to the service.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
