Obituary of Larry David Boyle

Larry David Boyle, age 66 of Sweet Valley, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Celtic Hospice Healthcare Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre. Mr. Boyle was born in Nanticoke on February 22, 1949 and was the son of the late Charles and Edna Jameson Boyle. Larry graduated from Milton Hershey School as a vocational machinist. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Larry was employed as a tool and die maker for various companies in the area. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Larry was a member of the Shickshinny American Legion, Post 495. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Charles "Butch" Boyle of Washington, half-brother, Harold Bilby of Shickshinny and son, David. Larry is survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Deborah Bilak of Wanamie; daughter, Amanda Boyle; son, Christopher Boyle and his finance Ashley of Sweet Valley; sister, Donna Blazick of Mocanaqua; granddaughter, Kailyn; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held January 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the American Legion Post 495, 575 State Route 239, Shickshinny, PA 18655. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to SPCA, 524 E Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702
