Charles A. Nice, age 92 of Larksville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Celtic Hospice Healthcare Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre.

Mr. Nice was born in Larksville July 19, 1923 and was the son of the late Joseph and Emily Nice.

Charles was a department manager in the former Wayne Department Store, Edwardsville. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, training with the 17th Airborne Division at Camp Pickett, VA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Elma who passed away in December, 1997.

Charles is survived by step-daughter, Betty Barski and her husband George of Sweet Valley; nieces, nephews, step-grandsons, and step-granddaughters.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.

Private interment will be in the St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville.
