Obituary of Matthew James Moyer

Matthew James Moyer, age 38 of Noxen, passed away unexpectedely Sunday, November 15, 2015 at home. Matthew was born in Wilkes-Barre on March 29, 1977 and was the son of Gary M. Moyer of Sweet Valley and Deborah Ann Keiper Metcalf of Huntington Mills. Matt graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1996. He was employed by RCH, Troy, for 5 years and was currently employed by Falls Twp. Road Department. Matt enjoyed being with his family, hunting, canoeing, and he was a primitive survival enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, the former Lisa Isbel; daughters, Halli Moyer of Red Rock, Sydney and Lydia Moyer, both at home; son, Logan Moyer, at home; sister, Jennifer Lovett and her husband Matthew of Benton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 8:00 pm from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Raymond D. Purdy, Jr. of the Living Word Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service.
