Obituary of Tara Lyn Lawson

Tara Lyn Lawson, age 58 of Sweet Valley, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 5, 2015. Mrs. Lawson was born in Milford, CT on April 18, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Cooper Geurin. Tara graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School. She was a member of the Loyalville United Methodist Church. Tara enjoyed to cook and was great at it. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Albert Geurin. Tara is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jeffrey Lawson; sons, Jeffrey Lawson, Jr. and his wife Toni of Mountaintop and Jacob Lawson of Duryea; daughter, Lacy Lawson, at home; grandchildren, Lukas and Logan. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 14 at 11:00 AM from the Loyalville United Methodist Church, 602 Loyalville Road, Loyalville with Rev. Carol Folk officiating. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. The family requests memorial donations to be made to the Loyalville United Methodist Church, 602 Loyalville Rd., Harveys Lake, PA 18618.
