Obituary of Richard Arthur Kemmerer

Richard A. Kemmerer, Jr., age 47 of Sweet Valley, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 due to injuries received from a motor vehicle accident in Columbia County. Mr. Kemmerer was born in Canandiagua, NY on July 26, 1968 and was the son of Richard A. Kemmerer, Sr. of Wilkes-Barre and Ruth Carey Kemmerer of Exeter. Richard received his associate's degree from L.C.C.C. and was employed by Linde Corp. He also worked with his father in their company business, R.A. Kemmerer and Son in Wilkes-Barre. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the outdoors. Richard was a member of the Loyalville United Methodist Church, Loyalville. In addition to his parents, Richard is survived by wife of 15 years, the former Dawn Kondratick; son, Richard A. Kemmerer III, at home; daughter, Susan Nicole Kemmerer, at home; sister, Kristen Robinson of Plymouth; a niece and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Loyalville United Methodist Church, 602 Loyalville Rd., Harveys Lake, PA 18618 with Pastor Carol Folk, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Loyalville United Methodist Church, 602 Loyalville Rd., Harveys Lake, PA 18618.
