Willda Rae Willauer Obituary
Willda "Billie" Zimmerman Willauer, age 88 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Bonham's Nursing Center, Stillwater.
Mrs. Willauer was born in Wilkes-Barre on February 8, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Emmanuel "Lee" and Gertrude Sutton Zimmerman.
Billie was raised at Harvey's Lake and graduated from Dallas Township High School. She was employed by the State Correctional Institution, Dallas, and Commonwealth Telephone. Billie enjoyed roller skating, touring on the motorcycle, square dancing, classical music, opera, swimming and ice skating on Harvey's Lake.
She is survived by her sisters, Barbara and Ruth; sons, David, Robert, Dale and Paul Elston; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
At her request, no services are planned.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
