Donald A. Malenovitch, Sr. age 73 of Plains, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at the River Run Rehab & Nursing Center, Kingston. Mr. Malenovitch was born in Plains on November 26, 1941 and was the son of the late Gus and Pauline Falchek Malenovitch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Robert Malenovitch, and sister, Barbara Vogel. Donald is survived by son, Donald Malenovitch and his wife Clare of Drifton; daughters, Sheila Brandon and her husband Michael of Sweet Valley, and Pauline Malenovitch of Larksville; sisters, Janet Phillips of Plains and Mary Barber and her husband John of Dallas; grandchildren, Brennan and Janessa Malenovitch; great-granddaughter, McKenzie; numerous nieces and nephews. A mass of remembrance will be held at the convenience of the family from the St. Peter and Paul's Church, Plains. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. The family requests memorial donations to be made to the Warrior Canine Connection, 23222 Georgia Ave., Brookeville, MD 20833.
