George L. Yatsko Obituary

George "Buddy" Lewis Yatsko, age 77 of Centermoreland , passed away peacefully at the Lakeside Nursing Center, Harvey's Lake, on August 11, 2015.





George was born in Miners Mills on February 12, 1938 and was the son of the late George and Helen Boyd Yatsko .





He graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1956 and served in the 109th field artillery. He was employed by Proctor and Gamble, Mehoopany, Brinks and served as a state constable.





George is survived by his wife of 54 years: Marie Roberta Wahlgren Yatsko; children: George Yatsko, Donna Miller and her husband Bob, Stephen Yatsko and his wife Valorie , Michael Yatsko and wife Robin; grandchildren: John Butera and his wife Vanessa, Chad Miller, Brianna Mikolaichik, Schyler Yatsko, Madison Yatsko, Brendan Yatsko; great-grandchild: Salena Butera; brothers: Harry Yatsko and wife Karen and Wayne Yatsko and his wife Leona.





Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.





Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
