Obituary of Cindy Sue Ayers

Cindy Sue Ayers, age 57 of Springville, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at the home of daughter Kat, Noxen, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Ayers was born in Wilkes-Barre on October 28, 1957 and was the daughter of Shirley Patton Ayers of Harveys Lake and the late William R. Ayers. Cindy enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. As an animal lover, she cared for many of her pets including dogs, cats, birds, and farm animals. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by husband, Chester DeGraff and sisters, Char and Rae. In addition to her mother, Cindy is survived by son, Thomas and his partner Sara of Springville; daughters, Georgeann of Noxen, Koren of Springville, Garianne and her partner Jeremy of Hardwick, VT and Kat and her partner David of Noxen; brothers, Bill, Jack, Dan, Joe, and Todd; sisters, Holly and Kelly; grandchildren, Gavin, Kelsey, Bella, Haley, Connor, Gharrison, Ivee, Abi, Gage, Emma, Aiden, and Gil. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm from Cindy Ayers' Home, 11494 State Route 3004, Springville, PA 18844. Friends may visit immediately following the service. Cindy's family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their professional, loving, and compassionate care that was given to Cindy and their family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St, Dunmore, PA.
