Obituary of Robert Steven Barski

Robert S. Barski, age 57 of Sweet Valley, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Celtic Hospice Healthcare Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Barski was born in Honolulu, HI on January 31, 1958 and was the son of George and Betty Morris Barski of Sweet Valley. Robert graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1975 and worked in the forging and machining industry for most of his life. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters, Crystal Barski of Nanticoke and Desiree` Barski of Pittsford, NY; brothers, Randy Barski of Pittsford, NY and Steve Barski of Bethlehem; grandson, Keegan; wife, Rita. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Frank Bogdon officiating. Friends may call 2-4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Celtic Hospice and Home Health, 601 Wyoming Ave, Kingston, PA 18704.
