Obituary of Shannon Joan Draper

Shannon J. Harvey Draper, age 38 of Edwardsville, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Shannon was born in Tunkhannock on November 28, 1976 and was the daughter of Donna Murphy Harvey of Kingston and Paul Harvey, Sr. of Tunkhannock. She graduated from West Side Technical Vocational High School, Pringle in 1994. In addition to her parents, she is survived by son, Michael McGuire of Hazleton; daughters, Christian and Tristian McGuire, at home; brother, Paul Harvey, Jr. of Pittston; maternal grandmother, Beverly Murphy of Noxen. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 5:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Jacob Johnson of the City Light Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Blue Chip Farms, Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Rd, Dallas, PA 18612.
