Obituary of Jeanette Elizabeth Nothoff

Jeanette E. "BJ" Nothoff, age 71 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Wilkes-Barre. Jeanette was born in Kingston on June 2, 1944 and was the daughter of the late John and Stella Klimovich Nothoff. She resided in Wilkes-Barre for most of her life and graduated from the former West Side Central Catholic High School in Kingston. BJ was employed by Dairylea in Scranton and later worked at Malacari's Deli in Wilkes-Barre. Jeanette was an excellent baker who enjoyed baking for her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jackie and William Nothoff and sister, Dorthea Gordon. Jeanette is survived by companion, Wayne Lloyd; brothers, James Nothoff of Tunkhannock and Donald Nothoff of Harding; sister, Marie Kern of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, June 22 at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
