Obituary of Helen Patricia Goman

Helen Patricia Goman, age 92 of Sweet Valley, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Mrs. Goman was born in Swoyersville on June 30, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret Yurevitch Bagienski. Helen was a loving wife, aunt, and devoted friend to all. She enjoyed gardening and maintained a beautiful garden. She was preceded in death by husband, Francis Goman, sisters, Margaret Gavlick and Mary Christopher, and brothers, Joseph and Frank Bagienski. Helen is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A Prayer Service will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Richard Fox officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 am - 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Lake Silkworth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2011 State Route 29, Hunlock Creek, Pa 18621.
