Edward Flasser Obituary

Edward Flasser, age 80 of Dallas, passed away May 27, 2015 at the Golden Living Center - Summit, Wilkes-Barre.





Mr. Flasser was born in Wilkes-Barre on December 16, 1934 and was the son of the late Charles and Mary Cronauer Flasser.





Edward graduated high school from St. Nicolas, where he was also a member of the church. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and was employed in the postal department of King's College.





In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Gerald Flasser, and sisters, Eleanor Rowe, Rita Potacky, and Dorothy Flasser.





Edward is survived by brother, Bernard Flasser and his wife Anne of Oak Hill; sister-in-law: Helen Flasser, Picataway, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews.





A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Gate Of Heaven Church, 40 Machell Ave, Dallas, PA 18612.





Interment will be in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown.





Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.





In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Edward's name.
