Obituary of Anthony Sylvester Gennusa

Anthony Sylvester Gennusa, age 18 of Sweet Valley, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 18, 2015 due to injuries received in an auto accident.
Anthony was born in Kingston on February 23, 1997 and was the son of Anthony Gennusa of Plains and Heather Zamsky Evans of Sweet Valley.
He was a senior at West Side CTC in Pringle, and had planned to attend Penn College, Williamsport in the fall. Anthony was employed by K & B Auto, Harveys Lake.
Anthony was loved by all that knew him. He lived each day to the fullest doing what he loved most including hunting, fishing, riding his quad, and his newest passion, riding his dirtbike. Anthony had many friends and anyone who knew him could see what a wonderful person he was. In his short time here, the joy that he brought his parents, family, and friends will never be forgotten. "We love you our sweet angel and will miss you always and forever."
In addition to his parents, he is survived by step-father, Christopher Evans of Sweet Valley; step-mother, Lisa Gennusa of Plains; sisters, Madison Zamsky of Sweet Valley, and Ashley Fox of Plains; paternal grandparents, Anthony and Eva Gennusa of Bear Creek; maternal grandparents, Bob and Marcie Mansfield of Sweet Valley; maternal grandfather, Dennis Zamsky of California; aunt, Mary Gennusa of Plains and the love of his life, Samantha Meeker of Sweet Valley.
A prayer service will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Richard Fox of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth, officiating.
Friends may call 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
