Please share a memory of Jeffrey to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jeffrey D. Martin, of Beaumont, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 15, 2015 at the age of 41.
Jeff is survived by parents, Rev. David and Cathleen Martin of Sweet Valley, and his finance Amy Williams, and her daughter, McKayla Williams, of Harveys Lake. In addition, he is survived by his siblings and their families: Sara and Andrew Iorio, Dallas; Holly and Matthew Kubicki, Shavertown; Daniel and Aly Martin, Shavertown; and Rebecca and Josh Brey, Swoyersville; and his grandmother, Doris Walters.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert Walters; Elwood and Layiah Martin.
Jeff graduated from Muhlenburg Christian Academy in Hunlock Creek and Luzerne County Community College in Nanticoke, with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice. He worked at Camp Orchard Hill, Dallas.
Jeff was care-free, fun-loving, kind and had a passion for serving God and others. He was active in the Children's Ministry, including Awana, at Cross Creek Community Church, and his love for the children led him to do many silly things, which endeared him to those who knew him.
He loved spending time outdoors. While he lived in Kalispell, MT, he cherished the opportunity to back-pack through the Glacier Mountains. He enjoyed his annual trips canoeing and camping along the Delaware River, and his time spent outdoors with his German Shepherd, Bear. He will be cheering on the Dallas Cowboys from Heaven.
