Obituary of Audrey Roberta Ide

Audrey Roberta Ide, age 78 of Pikes Creek, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 surrounded by her family at the Celtic Hospice Healthcare Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. Ide was born in Wilkes-Barre on November 28, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Oliver and Laverna Taylor Sult. Audrey attended school in Lehman Township. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Rolland Ide, sons, Rolland Ide, Jr. and Dale Ide, brother, Bernard Sult, and sister, Sandra Sult. Audrey is survived by sons, Joseph of Harveys Lake, Alan of Dallas, Darren of Lake Silkworth, and Kevin of Plymouth; brothers, Ronald Sult of Miami, FL and Leroy Sult of Harveys Lake; sisters, Patricia Romanchik of Florida, Evelyn Kanelly of Shickshinny, Margaret Yeckel of Loyalville, and Beth Scupski of Ashley; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. James Quinn, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
