Raymond Stella, 59, of West Wyoming went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 24, 2015. Ray was born in Pittston, July 24, 1955 and was the son of the late Elmer and Ethel Ercolani Stella. Ray graduated from Pittston Area High School in 1973 and Mansfield University in 1977. He received his Master's degree from the University of Scranton in Rehabilitation Counseling. Ray will always be remembered as a family man who treasured the love of his life, his wife of 31 beautiful years, Tina Rodzinak Stella and his sons Matthew, Justin, and Jordan of whom he was extremely proud. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Knicks, Pirates, and especially Penn State football. He coached Little League for Wyoming/West Wyoming for several years and made many cherished friends. He loved music, cooking, and vacationing with his family which were his most treasured memories. He worked for several years at Scranton Counseling, Social Security and retired from Scranton CMC while working as a Behavioral Health Manager. His infectious smile and laughter will be greatly missed, but will always be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. He was an active member of the Fellowship Evangelical Free Church in Dallas. His faith in his Lord and Savior was his passion.
In addition to his wife and sons, Ray is survived by his sisters, Geraldine Connolly and her husband Robert of Exeter, and Cynthia Liberski and her husband James of Exeter, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle, sisters and brothers in-law.
