Obituary of Phyllis Jean Wolfe

Phyllis J. Wolfe, age 86 of Sweet Valley, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Mrs. Wolfe was born in Broadway on March 25, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Suffrona Long Harvey.
Phyllis lived in Sweet Valley for most of her life and was the owner/operator of a beauty salon. She also worked at the Ross Elementary School cafeteria. Phyllis was an active member of the Community Bible Church of Sweet Valley and the Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Floyd Wolfe, son, Bing Wolfe, brothers, Foster and Glen Harvey, and sisters, Ethel Hoffman and Mary Harvey.
Phyllis is survived by daughter-in-law, Ruth LaBar Wolfe of Dallas; sister, Pearl Sundell of Sweet Valley; granddaughter, Valerie Kinney and her husband Ron of Elizabethtown; grandson, Benjamin E. Wolfe of Boston, MA; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2014 at 3 p.m. from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Raymond D. Purdy, Jr. of the Living Word Baptist Church and Rev. Timothy Cappucci of the Community Bible Church of Sweet Valley, officiating.
Friends may call 2-3 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
Private interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
