Obituary of Jay Theodore Crispell

Jay Theodore Crispell, age 51 of Trucksville, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, January 1, 2015 at home.
Mr. Crispell was born in Wilkes-Barre on January 1, 1964 and was the son of the former Norma Reed of Dallas and the late Stephen Archie Crispell.
Jay graduated from Dallas High School in 1982 and served in the Army National Guard, Battery C 1st Battalion 109th Field Artillery. He was employed by Kingston Township and was a member of the Trucksville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Crispell.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, the former Tracy Coolbaugh; son, Jason S. Crispell, at home; brothers, Stephen David Crispell of Laflin, Wayne Crispell and his wife Cindy of Owego, NY and Paul Crispell of Dallas; sister, Joyce Wasylkewicz and her husband Michael of Hunlock Creek; mother and father in law, Ron and Marge Coolbaugh of West Pittston.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the Trucksville United Methodist Church, 70 Knob Hill Rd., Trucksville, PA 18708 with Rev. Dick Williams officiating.
Friends may call 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
